ag is sent to landfill?\nDid you know that the world uses on average over
500 billion plastic bags every year?\n& Did you know that by 2050 scientis
ts are predicting that there will be more plastic bags in the world’s ocea
ns than fish?\nThe 15 from 1 project create re-usable tote bags from pre-l
oved quilts which are then donated to local shops\, organisations\, charit
ies\, the ClayTAWC Food Cupboard and are available outside ClayTAWC (weath
er permitting – if it is raining the bags are available to take from the r
eception area) to help combat the wastage of single use plastic bags. As m
ore and more of these re-usable bags are being donated and used\, the proj
ect are in desperate need of more volunteers – You do not have to attend t
he meet and make session to help out\, you can collect materials from Clay
TAWC during opening hours to take home! For more information\, and for the
