The 15 from 1 Project

Did you know that every minute in 2021, a single use plastic bag is sent to landfill?
Did you know that the world uses on average over 500 billion plastic bags every year?
& Did you know that by 2050 scientists are predicting that there will be more plastic bags in the world’s oceans than fish?

The 15 from 1 project create re-usable tote bags from pre-loved quilts which are then donated to local shops/organisations/charities to help combat the wastage of single use plastic bags. As more of these re-usable bags are being donated, the project is in desperate need of volunteers – meeting on the last Saturday of the month, from 9.30am till 12.30pm, any help is very much appreciated!
