Did you know that every minute in 2021, a single use plastic bag is sent to landfill?
Did you know that the world uses on average over 500 billion plastic bags every year?
& Did you know that by 2050 scientists are predicting that there will be more plastic bags in the world’s oceans than fish?
The 15 from 1 project create re-usable tote bags from pre-loved quilts which are then donated to local shops, organisations, charities, the ClayTAWC Food Cupboard and are available outside ClayTAWC (weather permitting – if it is raining the bags are available to take from the reception area) to help combat the wastage of single use plastic bags. As more and more of these re-usable bags are being donated and used, the project are in desperate need of more volunteers – You do not have to attend the meet and make session to help out, you can collect materials from ClayTAWC during opening hours to take home! GCSEs in Maths is free for those who do not already hold a grade in the relevant qualification.
We are specialists in English and maths. Our sessions provide a friendly and supportive adult environment to improve your English or maths, gain confidence, meet new people and enjoy learning.
You can:
- start from the basics and move upwards
- build your skills and gain confidence
- get a Functional Skills qualification
- gain the qualifications studying online or in the classroom
Maths
Maths covers numbers, calculations, data, measurements, money and budgets.
Suitable for all abilities, and covering a wide genre of songs.
Come along and learn how to paint and draw using different mediums. Booking is required as places are limited. No experience necessary just an interest in art would be great. A fee is payable but the class only runs “Term Time Only” so come along to find out more and enjoy the sessions.
